St. Joseph Elders Forum
The Elders of the Church contribute a lot in running the Church. It is very relevant to look to involving their time effectually. The Senior Citizen forum was formed by former Metropolitan H.G. Dr. Yuhanon Mar Diascoros for the better way to reach and be enriched with the gathering of elders of our community. Anyone who has completed 60 years of age is considered to be senior citizens in our country. Senior Citizen Forum is way much active in the two tiers such as Church level and Diocesan level. It’s to their credit that many of the elders now, then came to this cityin search of their livelihood and were instrumental in establishing various Parishes in Madras which benefited the worshipping community of Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church. Beyond that the experiences of their life have been sorted for many events of the Church and Diocese as well.
